Pacific Gas & Electric continued a low-inventory OFO begunWednesday (see Daily GPI, Aug. 25)through today with no change in imbalance tolerance orpenalties. PG&E extended a projection of below-target linepacklevels through Saturday.

A two-day run of an in-line investigation tool offshoresouthwest Louisiana was completed ahead of schedule Wednesdaymorning, Texas Eastern said. The pipeline lifted all associatedrestrictions and said shippers could renominate previouslyscheduled volumes Wednesday while producers could resume flows asnominations increased.

The Marketing Operations group for Panhandle Eastern andTrunkline relocated Tuesday to 5444 Westheimer in Houston, acrossthe street from the Duke Energy building. The move is a result ofCMS Energy’s acquisition of the two pipelines from Duke, completedin March 1999. New phone numbers for the group are listed on thePanhandle/Trunkline bulletin boards; however, as of Wednesday aninaccurate listing of (713) 989-7590 as its main number drew a”disconnected” message.

Transwestern will have a Bloomfield Station compressor unit downfor eight to 10 hours of maintenance Sept. 8, reducing the San JuanLateral’s normal capacity of 800,000 MMBtu/d by about 25,000MMBtu/d.

Williams Field Services maintenance activity next month mayaffect Kern River receipts from the Opal (WY) Hub. Anticipateddowntime will be 12 hours during work on the Ham’s Fork Compressor(Shute Creek), causing a wellhead volume loss of about 25% of ShuteCreek production. On Sept. 14-16 WFS will perform an annualshutdown on the #1 Turbo Expander (TXP-I) at the Opal Plant andwill install a turbo upgrade to one of the Saddle Ridge units (BigPiney); that project’s downtime is estimated at 56 hours. Opalnon-guaranteed impact is expected to be 100% Sept. 14 and 15 and34% on Sept. 16, while Saddle Ridge impact for the same daysrespectively will be 25% and 9%.

Florida Gas Transmission continues to extend compressor overhaulmaintenance between Stations 6 and 7 more than three months beyondits originally scheduled May 17 completion, but said Monday maximumthroughput at the Sabine Pass Plant/Johnson’s Bayou facility insouthwest Louisiana has been raised from 100 MMcf/d to 110 MMcf/duntil further notice.
