The Interstate Natural Gas Association of America (INGAA) recently unveiled updated greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions commitments for members, part of a larger effort to achieve net-zero emissions from transmission and storage operations by 2050.

INGAA said its 27 member companies have pledged several measures to reduce methane emissions from pipelines, pneumatic controllers, storage and compressor stations, along with natural gas storage wells. These measures include conducting surveys on transmission pipelines at least once a year to detect leaks and make repairs.
