  • Tropical Storm Delta has strengthened into a Category 4 hurricane and is charging toward the Gulf Coast. While it’s expected to weaken, the storm is forecast to make landfall just east of the Hackberry, LA-located Cameron LNG plant later this week, threatening additional disruptions. “A slight jog west would lead to a direct hit,” on the terminal, forecaster NatGasWeather said. Both Cameron and Sabine Pass LNG, located about 40 miles south, are monitoring the storm and making preparations.
