Kern River was in the unusual position Thursday of asking customers to refrain from drafting its system as low linepack conditions continued in all four segments. For much of this year it has been reporting high linepack. “It is imperative that operators only take their scheduled quantity,” the pipeline said. “In addition, if you have an imbalance that is owed to Kern River, please make arrangements to pay back this imbalance as soon as possible.”

Due to an oil pump failure at Dover Compressor Station, Iroquois is experiencing constraints and said there will be no loans, unscheduled due-shipper gas, ER/ED or IT services available through the Athens Compressor Station until further notice. In addition, secondary firm transportation is subject to allocation through Monday.

In extending Wednesday’s Overage Alert Day notice through at least Thursday, Florida Gas Transmission tightened the tolerance for negative daily imbalances from 25% to 20%.

El Paso said Tuesday’s smart pig run on Line 1200 between the Dilkon and Flagstaff stations failed to obtain all of the necessary data and thus will be rerun Friday, reducing capacity of the North Mainline by 155 MMcf/d.

NOVA will restrict Firm Service to about 67% of contract demand and will not allow IT during upcoming integrity work on the 30-inch Grande Prairie Mainline Loop. The project will begin at the start of Monday’s gas day and is expected to end at 8 p.m. MDT Tuesday. Firm Service transfers will be restricted to downstream locations only, and no transfers into the affected area will be allowed.
