A joint venture (JV) of UGI Energy Services LLC said it has agreed to develop with Global Common Energy LLC its third renewable natural gas (RNG) production project in Upstate New York.

The Cayuga RNG JV plans to construct a manure digester and gas upgrading equipment at El-Vi Farms on the border of Wayne and Ontario counties between Rochester and Syracuse. Owned by three families and founded in 1948, El-Vi Farms boasts about 2,200 cows on 3,300 acres of land.
