Enterprise Products Partners LP has struck 10-year agreements to handle “a substantial portion” of Chesapeake Energy Corp.’s liquids-rich gas production in the Eagle Ford Shale in South Texas.

Montreal-based producer Gastem Inc. said Thursday its Ross No.1 vertical well in the New York portion of the Marcellus Shale has been completed and is testing 150 MMcf/d after four weeks of “extended flow.”

Chesapeake Midstream Partners LP has agreed to acquire the Spring Ridge gas gathering system and related facilities in the Haynesville Shale from Chesapeake Midstream Development LP, a subsidiary of Chesapeake Energy Corp. (Chesapeake), for $500 million cash.
