Mojave Pipeline reversed an earlier bulletin board posting (see Daily GPI, June 16), emphasizing that itwould “not” shut in part of its West Lateral Thursday and cause theshut-ins of “17Z”-labeled interconnects with Chevron, Mobil, Shell andTexaco. However, Mojave said, a maintenance shut-in of the Oxy 17Zinterconnect was to proceed as scheduled Thursday and today.

El Paso will have the “B” Plant at Williams (AZ) Station downfor maintenance June 21-23, reduing North Mainline capacity in SanJuan Basin by 100 MMcf/d. From June 28 through July 7, individualWilliams “B” compressors will be off-line, cutting North Mainlinecapacity by 25 MMcf/d June 28-July 2 and by 40 MMcf/d July 3-7.

TransCanada yesterday was continuing to evaluate an electronicfailure on its 36-inch Western Alberta System. A tool used duringan in-line inspection run failed. Arrival of a de-watering pig atthe Knight compressor station has been delayed until about noonmountain time today. Work on the system between the Miekle Riverand Knight compressor station in northwestern Alberta began May 31,impacting receipt capacity by about 1 Bcf/d. The system should beup to regular flows again some time by Saturday, a spokesman said.The outage had been scheduled to end June 9.

CMS Panhandle Eastern plans its Waverly Piping Inspection tobegin Friday and last seven days, reducing capacity by 60 MMcf/d.The project reduces capacity on Panhandle’s 100 line between Havenand Glenarm but will affect only physical receipts between Havenand Glenarm into the 100 lines.

El Paso’s planned maintenance at Alamo Lake Station was expandedto include a total station shutdown Wednesday. Alamo Lake No.1turbine will be down today and Tuesday, reducing Havasu Crossovercapacity by 100 MMcf/d. The No.2 turbine will also be downWednesday for a total Havasu cut of 150 MMcf/d. To coincide withthis outage and minimize impact on San Juan Basin supplies, theNavajo Station’s 2C turbine will be down for maintenance Wednesday,reducing North Mainline capacity by 155 MMcf/d.

Transco extended Thursday the open season for FT service on itsSundance Expansion Project, originally scheduled to end June 1,through June 18. Sundance will provide extra capacity from Station65 in Louisiana to Station 165 in Virginia and is proposed to beginservice by April 1,2002.

Sea Robin told shippers Tuesday it must shut in the entiresystem for 10-12 hours today and asked them to cut their nominationlevels by 50%. The action resulted from being informed by Texaco,operator of the Sea Robin Processing Plant, that the plant musthalt operation to repair a leak. The event constitutes a forcemajeure, Sea Robin said, and thus it declared an OFO Type 30 forthe shutdown period. The pipeline said it had contacted downstreamdelivery point operators and they could not accept gas untreated bythe plant’s dehydration facility.
