Targa Resources Backing New NGL Line From Eagle Ford

Targa Resources Partners has signed a nonbinding memorandum of understanding (MOU) for development of a pipeline to transport y-grade natural gas liquids (NGL) from processing facilities in the Eagle Ford Shale to Mont Belvieu, TX, and a new fractionation train at the Targa-operated Cedar Bayou fractionation facility (CBF).

Spectra Files for New Jersey-New York Pipeline Expansion

Spectra Energy Corp. has filed an application at FERC to expand its Texas Eastern Transmission and Algonquin Gas Transmission interstate pipeline systems to serve the New Jersey and New York natural gas markets, the Houston-based company said Monday.

Encana Natural Gas Inc. has opened a compressed natural gas fueling station in Coushatta, LA, its first, to serve the company’s fleet of vehicles in Red River Parish. Starting next year the Encana Corp. subsidiary expects to offer the station’s fueling service to other corporate fleets in the region. The company said plans to open its next four natural gas fueling stations, one in each of the states of Wyoming and Colorado and two in Western Canada next year.
