NorTex Gas Storage Co. LLC is holding an open season through Thursday (Feb. 17) for capacity at its Hill-Lake and Worsham-Steed gas storage facilities in North Texas. Up to 6 Bcf of high-deliverability, multi-cycle (HDMC) firm capacity will be available starting April 1. Service levels range from single-cycle to four-cycle, including hourly profiling customized for power generators, which are significant gas consumers in the Dallas/Ft. Worth market during the summer. Questar Offering Rich Gas Capacity to Uinta Producers

Questar Pipeline Co. (QPC) is holding a binding open season through Feb. 18 for firm capacity that would be created by modifying and installing facilities on its system for delivery of higher-Btu gas to Chipeta Processing LLC or other Uinta Basin processors, the pipeline said.

Wabash Gas Storage LLC said a recent open season garnered bids for more than three times the capacity of its 12-14 Bcf storage facility under development in eastern Illinois near Midwestern Gas Transmission Co. pipeline’s Paris compressor station (see Daily GPI, Nov. 16). Injection and withdrawal capacity of the facility is estimated at 200,000 MMBtu/d. Wabash also received expressions of interest in having the storage project interconnect with the Rockies Express and Panhandle Eastern pipeline systems.
