Dow Chemical Becomes First Industrial to Commit to LNG for Long Term

Dow Chemical Co. has signed a 20-year terminal use agreement with Freeport LNG Development LP to receive up to 500 MMcf/d of the throughput capacity at the developer’s proposed liquefied natural gas (LNG) import terminal in southeastern Texas, said part owner Cheniere Energy Inc. Thursday.

Missouri Gas Customers to Receive $30M in Refunds from 20-Year-Old Tax Flap

The Missouri Public Service Commission (MPSC) said that state gas customers can expect to see approximately $30.3 million in refunds stemming from cases involving Kansas ad valorem (property) taxes unlawfully collected during the period of 1983 through 1988 by natural gas producers from Southern Star Central Gas Pipeline (formerly Williams) and Panhandle Eastern Pipe Line customers.
