Nebraska Takes Over LDC Regulatory Authority

The Nebraska Public Service Commission (PSC) expects to have new rules ready by the end of this month to regulate the state’s investor-owned natural gas utilities. The state legislature passed a bill in late May to oversee local distribution companies (LDCs), taking over authority from Nebraska municipalities.
