Tuscarora Gas Transmission Co. wants to expand its 229-mile pipeline system extending from Malin, OR, to capture a growing Nevada market. Under an application filed with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, it would add three compressor stations and a 14-mile pipeline extension to nearly double capacity to 220 MMcf/d, up from its current 124 MMcf/d. The in-service date, if approved, would be late 2002.

Great Lakes Gas Transmission is holding an open season for a seasonal gas exchange between May 1, 2001 and March 31, 2002. Great Lakes proposes an agreement with a single party for the pipeline to receive about 1.7 Bcf into its system during the 2001 summer months and deliver an equivalent amount of gas back to that party during the 2001/2002 winter months. CIG Proposes Expansion of Cheyenne Hub
The Colorado Interstate Gas Co. officially filed a plan with theFederal Energy Regulatory Commission Dec. 4 to increase pipelinecapacity from its Cheyenne Hub area south to Front Range markets.CIG’s proposed $72 million expansion would include 84 miles of20-inch pipeline and two generators along the eastern slope of theRocky Mountains to a planned 480 MW power plant south of ColoradoSprings.
