Arcadia Gas Storage (AGS) is holding a nonbinding open season through Jan. 18 for salt cavern natural gas storage service in North Louisiana. AGS is offering a total of 15.5 Bcf of working gas storage capacity to be developed in three phases at its existing facility near Arcadia, LA.

Bay Gas Storage Continues Growing Mobile, AL Facility

Mobile, AL-based Bay Gas Storage Co. Ltd. will hold a nonbinding open season for 10.0 Bcf of natural gas storage capacity at its facility in McIntosh, AL. The open season relates to the planned development of two new 5 Bcf. high-deliverability, underground caverns in the McIntosh salt-dome, together with planned pipeline interconnects with Transco (Station No. 85) and SONAT (York, AL). The new caverns and pipeline interconnects are scheduled to begin service by fall 2009.

ANR Tests Market for 70 Bcf of Storage, Transportation Service

ANR Pipeline Co. said it is holding a nonbinding open season for up to 70 Bcf of working gas storage capacity and associated firm transportation in its ML-7 Zone to Lebanon, OH, and other potential delivery points along its southeast mainline between the Gulf Coast and Willow Run, a Michigan Consolidated receipt and delivery point in Michigan. The open season will close on Aug. 18.

Sempra LNG Reports ‘Strong’ Interest in Costa Azul Open Season

Sempra Energy’s liquefied natural gas (LNG) unit reported Monday that its just concluded nonbinding open season for a proposed expansion of the Costa Azul receiving terminal along the North Baja Pacific Coast in Mexico drew strong interest equivalent to 2.9 Bcf/d, more than double the scope of the proposed expansion. The open season that ran for four weeks closed last Friday.

San Diego-based Sempra Energy’s liquefied natural gas (LNG) unit announced Monday it will hold an open season for nonbinding bids for capacity in what could be up to a 1.5 Bcf/d expansion of the company’s Energia Costa Azul LNG receiving terminal now under construction.

Ozark Gas Transmission Holding Open Season for Extension

Ozark Gas Transmission LLC, an Affiliate of Atlas Pipeline Mid-Continent LLC, will conduct a nonbinding open season for its proposed East End Expansion Project beginning March 6 and ending on March 31. The extension proposal calls for 100 miles of 24-inch pipe originating in White County AR, near the city of Searcy and terminating in Panola County, MS ,near the city of Sardis.

Enbridge Inc. announced Wednesday it will conduct a nonbinding open season for a proposed 330-mile long, 36-inch diameter natural gas transmission pipeline that would be designed to transport up to 1 Bcf/d of natural gas from Southeast Texas to Clarke County, MS.

Stagecoach Completes Expansion Open Season

Central New York Oil and Gas Co. LLC (CNYOG), an Inergy LP subsidiary, closed the nonbinding open season for the Stagecoach Phase II expansion, reporting a “strong response.” Interest expressed exceeded 200% of the available field inventory capacity of 13 Bcf and 300% of available deliverability. Those expressing interest included local distribution companies, gas-fired generators and third-party marketers, many of whom do not participate in the existing storage field, CNYOG said.
