The Federal Trade Commission (FTC) on Friday said it received a petition from The Williams Cos. asking the agency to reopen and modify an order that required the company to provide pipeline capacity to Kinder Morgan Operating LP, an operator of propane terminals, and to any competing pipeline wishing to connect to Williams’ natural gas processing plants.

FERC last Wednesday said that there is no need to modify scores of transmission agreements in order for the Midwest Independent Transmission System Operator (MISO) to begin reliably operating its energy markets on its present schedule.

Mojave Pipeline will shut in its Mt. Poso delivery point foreight hours July 28 to modify piping. El Paso’s Monument B Plantwill be down eight hours on July 29 for piping repairs. TheIWARMONU interconnect will be completely shut in while ITEXNEUNwill be limited to 35 MMcf/d.
