Energy Bill Conferees Urged to Drop Electricity from Legislation

A group of 29 stakeholders made up of consumer advocates, membership organizations, trade associations and individual corporations last week sent a letter to members of a House-Senate energy bill conference committee urging the removal of electricity provisions from any final federal energy legislation.

Williams Unveils Power Agreement With Jackson Electric

A unit of Williams Monday announced a 15-year, full requirements power agreement with Georgia-based Jackson Electric Membership Corp. (EMC) to manage Jackson Electric’s existing power resources and load obligation, representing requirements of 1,100 MW in Georgia.
