PG&E Seeks to Restore Pressure in Southwest Supply Pipe

More doubts arose Thursday regarding Pacific Gas and Electric Co.’s (PG&E) transmission pipeline testing as it related to its main link (Line 300) to Southwest natural gas supplies at the Arizona border. A California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC) hearing is set for Monday on the utility’s request to restore Line 300’s maximum allowable operating pressure (MAOP).

Cheniere Tests Market Interest in Pipe to Deliver Louisiana LNG

Cheniere Energy Partners LP is holding a nonbinding open season for capacity on a major pipeline project that would link markets in the Southeast with incremental supplies from existing and new liquefied natural gas (LNG) terminals in and around Louisiana, the company said. The open season began last Tuesday and runs through Jan. 15.

FERC Approves Entrega Gas Pipeline from Piceance Basin to Cheyenne Hub

FERC approved a new market link for Rockies gas Tuesday, giving the go-ahead for construction of EnCana’s Entrega Gas Pipeline, featuring 328 miles of 36- and 42-inch, line from the Piceance Basin through the Wamsutter Basin and Hub in Sweetwater County, WY, to the Cheyenne gas trading hub in Weld County, CO, where several eastbound pipelines converge.
