Raymond James Sees Bottleneck at Perryville Hub After 2011

An estimated 9.6 Bcf/d or more of incremental interstate and intrastate pipeline takeaway capacity is forecast to hit the Haynesville Shale region by 2012, which will likely be enough to keep up with production, but the bottleneck at the Perryville Hub in Louisiana will be an issue beyond 2011, analysts with Raymond James & Associates Inc. said Monday.

More Gains; Can Screen Loss Take Cash Down a Peg?

A small loss by intrastate OGT and flat quotes at several points averted a third straight day of across-the-board upticks Thursday. Cooling trends throughout most of the eastern United States easily outweighed mostly moderate conditions in much of the West in sustaining further gains at most points. A prior-day screen loss had little effect on general cash market firmness Thursday but may have more impact Friday.

Florida Power & Light Co. (FPL) said last week it wants to construct a 300-mile intrastate natural gas pipeline to move gas north to Bradford County from Palm Beach County. The proposal, which was filed with the Florida Public Service Commission (PSC), said the pipeline could be in service as early as 2014.
