Florida Gas Transmission extended an Overage Alert Day that began last Saturday through at least Wednesday. The tolerance for negative daily imbalances had been set at 25% Saturday and Sunday but was tightened to 15% Monday and Tuesday (see Daily GPI, July 10). On Wednesday FGT loosened the tolerance to 20%.

Pacific Gas & Electric issued a Stage 2 high-inventory OFO for Saturday, setting penalties at $1/Dth for exceeding a 5% tolerance on positive daily imbalances.

Pacific Gas & Electric extended a systemwide high-inventory OFO through at least Wednesday; penalties were unchanged but the tolerance for positive daily imbalances was tightened slightly from 10% to 9%.

Pacific Gas & Electric extended a systemwide Stage 2 high-inventory OFO into its third day Friday, but after loosening the tolerance for positive daily imbalances from 5% to 16% Thursday, it tightened the tolerance to 11% for Friday.

Southern California Gas declared a high-linepack OFO for Saturday and Sunday with 10% tolerance for positive daily imbalances, then allowed it to lapse Monday.

Pacific Gas & Electric issued customer-specific Stage 2 low-inventory OFOs for Wednesday and Thursday. Penalties of $1/Dth were set for negative daily imbalances exceeding a 5% tolerance.

Southern Natural Gas lifted Saturday the Type 6 OFO for short imbalances that was issued Wednesday. It also canceled capacity allocations Friday for Group 4-Chattanooga, Group 13-East Tennessee and Group 59-Tallapoosa.
