The Federal Energy Regulatory Commission said Wednesday that an environmental assessment has found that Trunkline LNG’s proposed expansion of its facilities in Louisiana “would not constitute a major federal action significantly affecting the quality of the human environment,” with appropriate mitigating measures.

Bullish Storage Report Gives Futures a Hoof Up

Getting a slightly bullish boost from the Energy Information Administration’s (EIA) weekly gas storage report, July natural gas futures on Thursday closed up 7 cents at $6.485. The EIA reported that 85 Bcf of gas was injected into underground storage for the week ended June 18.
