Natural gas storage proposals are alive and well in Arizona, but when one of them is going to turn into an actual project is still anybody’s guess, following last Tuesday’s (Aug. 26) Federal Energy Regulatory Commission staff conference in Phoenix. FERC staff promised a “report” on the meeting, but nothing more tangible emerged.

El Paso Sells Florida Terminals Unit for $155M
El Paso Corp. continued its asset sales program Tuesday with its Florida petroleum terminals and tug and barge operations. The Florida assets, which were acquired in the Coastal Corp. merger in 2001, were sold to TransMontaigne Inc. for $155 million, including an estimated $35 million of product inventory value at closing.
