Global oilfield services operator Tenaris SA plans to invest an estimated $1.5 billion in the United States to expand onshore and offshore services, the company said Thursday.

FERC Thursday approved a proposal by Caledonia Energy Partners LLC, an affiliate of Houston-based Enstor Operating Co. LLC, to expand its existing high-deliverability, multi-cycle storage facility in northeastern Mississippi, as well as a request to vacate authorization to proceed with a separate project.

FERC Tuesday approved PetroLogistics Natural Gas Storage LLC’s proposal to expand the capacity of its existing storage facility in southern Louisiana by approximately 65%.

FERC Friday issued a favorable environmental assessment (EA) to Dominion Transmission Inc.’s proposal to expand its storage system in Maryland, Ohio, West Virginia and Pennsylvania.

This comes only months after Tennessee placed into service an initial expansion and upgrade of the 300 Line.

With net production up more than 83% from the prior-year quarter, Antero Resources said Monday that it plans to expand its operations in the Marcellus Shale but will hold the line in the Piceance Basin and the Woodford and Fayetteville shales.
