EIA: New Marcellus Capacity to Keep New England Waiting

Multiple pipeline expansions expected to come online between now and 2015 in the Northeast will take more gas out of the Marcellus Shale, but they won’t do much to alleviate winter price spikes in New England, according to the Energy Information Administration (EIA).

New Industry-Backed Nonprofit Urges DOE to Act on LNG Exports

Noting that the United States is in the midst of an energy transformation, a new nonprofit launched by industry and business groups, Our Energy Moment (OEM), is hitting the streets to advocate for increased shale resource exploration, aswell as U.S. liquefied natural gas (LNG) exports.
