The Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) Thursday reported that it approved six settlement agreements in fiscal year (FY) 2010 for a total of $31.4 million in civil penalties and disgorgement of $281,038 plus interest.

Enterprise Products Partners LP said it plans to construct a crude oil storage facility and associated pipelines to provide refiners in the Houston area with access to growing production from the Eagle Ford Shale in South Texas.

Due to the limited availability of high-pressure pumping services, Comstock Resources Inc. said it continues to experience significant delays in completing its Haynesville or Bossier shale wells in North Louisiana. As a result, along with the relatively low price of dry natural gas, Comstock said it might put more focus on its liquids-rich Eagle Ford drilling program next year.

Energy Transfer Partners LP will construct two pipelines in support of new long-term agreements to provide transportation services from the Eagle Ford Shale in South Texas. The pipelines will expand the partnership’s existing midstream infrastructure in the region, Dallas-based Energy Transfer said Monday.

Tennessee Gas Pipeline Co.
