Propane player NGL Energy Partners LP announced Monday that it has signed merger agreements with two High Sierra (HSE) entities, creating a diversified company through a cash and stock deal valued at $693 million, less assumed net debt.

Constitution Pipeline Co. LLC, a development launched in February by frequent partners Williams Partners LP and Cabot Oil & Gas Corp., on Tuesday executed precedent agreements for the proposed 121-mile natural gas pipeline, designed to connect Marcellus Shale production in northeastern Pennsylvania to Northeast markets by spring 2015.

Dow Chemical Co. plans to build a world-scale ethylene production plant at its Dow Texas Operations in Freeport, TX, as part of a plan to capitalize on low-cost feedstocks available from growing U.S. shale gas supplies, the company said Thursday.

Although Pennsylvania could eventually lease additional state forest land for natural gas drilling, it will likely be in small doses, according to the state’s top land manager.

Frisco, TX-based Comstock Resources Inc. has joined the ranks of producers that are pulling back from natural gas drilling to direct more resources to oil.

Two anchor shippers have signed binding agreements for capacity on Texas Eastern Transmission LP’s (Tetco) TEAM 2014 expansion project to carry gas from Appalachia’s shale plays to the Northeast, Midwest and southern United States, the Spectra Energy Corp. pipeline said.

Enterprise Products Partners LP said Tuesday an open season has shown that enough shippers are interested in taking capacity on its proposed Appalachia to Texas (Atex Express) ethane pipeline to support the 1,230-mile project. The pipeline would deliver ethane from the Marcellus/Utica Shale areas of Pennsylvania, West Virginia and Ohio to the U.S. Gulf Coast.

Endeavour International Corp. on Wednesday said it has terminated purchase and sale agreements with SM Energy Co. and other minority owners to buy a 42,000-acre leasehold and associated pipeline assets in McKean and Potter counties in northern Pennsylvania.

Nexen Inc. last week secured two joint ventures (JV) in two separate transactions, both with Asian companies, that promise to give the Calgary-based independent a solid footing to expand development in the Gulf of Mexico (GOM) as well as British Columbia (BC).
