GAO: More Inspectors Needed to Carry Out New Pipe Safety Oversight

The Department of Transportation’s Office of Pipeline Safety (OPS) has set up an “aggressive” and “ambitious” schedule to carry out its integrity-management approach to ensure the safe operation of natural gas and hazardous liquid pipelines.
