Using the Biden administration’s landmark climate legislation, Mitsubishi Power Americas Inc. is working with Warwick Carbon Solutions Development Co. LP (WCS) to leverage its zero-carbon ambitions in the United States.

The companies’ joint development agreement (JDA) was assisted by the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA), which was signed into law last year by President Biden. 

“As evidenced by the IRA and other important initiatives directed at advancing clean energy, the time is now to collaboratively pursue new decarbonization technologies and solutions,” Mitsubishi CEO Bill Newsom said.
