What is MiQ?

MiQ, along with Equitable Origin and Project Canary, is one of the three main third party responsibly sourced natural gas certifying agents in North America. We believe MiQ is a bit different from those other two agencies, in that the primarily goal of MiQ is to certify the methane content in natural gas, which addresses the “E” portion of the Environmental Social & Governance movement, whereas those other two standards include elements of all three.
