Cenagas is in charge of managing the capacity on Mexico’s national pipeline grid, the Sistrangas. It also is meant to be a central actor in infrastructure and market planning. 

Cenagas does well on paper in promoting natural gas as a key element for economic development and energy security in Mexico.
