Specialty manufacturer Ingevity Corp. is partnering with renewable natural gas (RNG) solutions provider GreenGasUSA Holdings LLC to advance biogas capture and cleanup. 

According to Ingevity CEO John Fortson, the partnership advances Ingevity 2.0, the company’s strategy to advance cleaner technology solutions, as well as its exploration in RNG applications.

GreenGas CEO Marc Fetten said, “Ingevity stood out as the perfect strategic partner as we continue to provide customers with a growing variety of decarbonization and waste-to-value solutions.” 

North Charleston, SC-based Ingevity initially plans to fund GreenGas to provide solutions for methane-producing organic waste that may be converted to RNG.
