The firm’s weekly Frac Spread Count is similar to Baker Hughes Co.’s weekly rig count forecasts. Primary Vision’s review details how many pressure pumper spreads, or sets of equipment, are active in the Lower 48. Through July 14, Primary Vision counted 263 active fracture spreads that were using “millions of horsepower,” Johnson noted.

The CEO also offers the company’s forecast of what the active market looks like into the fall. In addition, Johnson explains how fast the electric fleet market is growing, which may be a surprise.
