NGTL Proposes Expansion in Western Canada to Serve U.S. Northwest, California

Canadian natural gas exports will increase to the Pacific Northwest region of the United States and California in the next 10 years, according to the developer of a proposed C$355.5-million ($267-million) pipeline expansion project.

The proposed West Path 2023 expansion of TC Energy Corp.’s pipeline grid in Alberta and British Columbia, Nova Gas Transmission Ltd. (NGTL), is supported by shipper service bookings of 166 MMcf/d, NGTL said in a filing to the Canada Energy Regulator (CER).
