Jamison Cocklin

Jamison Cocklin joined the staff of NGI in November 2013 to cover the Appalachian Basin. He was appointed Senior Editor, LNG in October 2019, and then to Managing Editor, LNG in February 2024. Prior to joining NGI, he worked as a business and energy reporter at the Youngstown Vindicator, covering the regional economy and the Utica Shale play. He also served as a city reporter at the Bangor Daily News and did freelance work for the Associated Press. He has a bachelor's degree in journalism and political science from the University of Maine.

Legacy Producers Sue to Stop New Oil/Gas Regulations in Pennsylvania

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has collected a $14,440 fine from Williams Ohio Valley Midstream for a violation of the federal Clean Water Act after a four-inch diameter pipeline ruptured in its natural gas gathering and processing system in Marshall County, WV.

Columbia Gas Again Asks Pennsylvania PUC For More Revenue

NiSource Inc. subsidiary Columbia Gas of Pennsylvania has filed another request with the Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission (PUC) for an annual revenue increase of $55 million to fund continuing upgrades of its underground distribution infrastructure and training for pipeline safety and regulatory compliance.
