The unseasonably strong late-season cold shot was still impacting much of the country on Friday, but an expected quick return to more mild spring temperatures sank prices ahead of the weekend. Still, with frigid overnight temperatures and snow in some areas, hefty increases early in the April 19-23 period sealed the week/week gains.

In New England, Algonquin Citygate traded in a wide range from $2.010-4.500 before averaging $2.760, up 28.0 cents on the week. Transco Zone 6 non-NY was up 26.5 cents to $2.355.
