Northern Natural Gas declared a force majeure situation Friday on its 24-inch Mitchell to Spraberry line. The pipeline said it was evaluating the situation and that receipts into the line must be allocated and/or curtailed, but gave no further details in the bulletin board posting.

NOVA changed its imbalance tolerance Friday to 0/-4, meaning that it was allowing some drafting of the system but no positive imbalances.

CenterPoint (formerly Reliant) canceled Friday an Operational Alert it had issued Thursday after the Delhi Compressor Station went down for unscheduled repairs. Deliveries into Columbia Gulf at Delhi were reduced to 243,000 Dth/d and firm shippers to the point were being cut pro rata for the duration of the alert.

East Tennessee Natural Gas said Friday the compressor at Ooltewah Compressor Station would return to service at the start of Saturday’s gas day, leaving no restrictions on the East Tennessee system.

NGPL postponed a maintenance outage of Compressor Station 302 in Montgomery County, TX, until Feb. 18-24. The work previously had been set for Feb. 4-10 when NGPL recently expanded the scope of the work from three to seven day (see Daily GPI, Jan. 31).
