Transco completed construction work at Station 35 and station capacity was nearly back to normal as of Friday afternoon, a spokeswoman said. The project, which was causing an allocation bottleneck at downstream Station 40, began in May and was originally scheduled to end July 1 but got delayed (see Daily GPI, July 23). There will be additional commissioning outages in coming weeks that will restrict Station 40 capacity temporarily, but most will be only one day long, the spokeswoman said.

El Paso said Friday the duration of repairs on the Bondad Station’s 2A turbine has been shortened, and it expected them to be completed Sunday (Aug. 4). The 100 MMcf/d capacity reduction at Bondad was to be ended with Cycle 1 nominations for Monday’s gas day. As of Thursday the pipeline had expected the work to last through Aug. 8 (see Daily GPI, Aug. 2). El Paso also reported that Line 1201 maintenance downstream of Valve City had been completed. Capacities were increased for San Juan Basin by 100 MMcf/d and for the North Mainline by 60 MMcf/d effective with Friday’s Cycle 3 nominations. In addition, a Line 1600 project downstream of El Paso Station was completed ahead of schedule and Waha West capacity was increased to 780 MMcf/d Friday.
