Gulf South (formerly Koch Gateway) is performing unscheduledmaintenance on one unit at the Bistineau Compressor Station innorthwest Louisiana until further notice. Withdrawals from theBistineau storage facility could be reduced as much as 100 MMcf/duntil repairs are completed.

Starting Saturday Florida Gas Transmission will further cutallowable volumes at the EGP-Cow Island Plant receipt point from20,000 MMBtu/d to 10,000 MMBtu/d due to gas quality problems.EGP-Cow Island Plant and three FGT receipt points are beingrestricted for high hexane+ gas content.

El Paso will shut in Line 3105 in West Texas on Jan. 31 toreplace a valve. IMOBILPE, the Duke Pegasus plant, will bescheduled to zero for the day.

In an update on deliveries to TQM Pipeline’s East Hereford (PQ)Station, which exploded Dec. 28 (see Daily GPI, Jan. 2), parent firm TransCanada said aforce majure remains in effect until a permanent restoration ofcapacity is complete. A temporary measure of deploying a portabletransfer compressor near the station is under way, TransCanada said,and required National Energy Board approval of the compressorinstallation is expected soon. An investigation of the explosion iscontinuing. Preliminary estimates indicate it could take severalmonths before East Hereford service is fully restored, the pipelinesaid.
