Unplanned maintenance over the weekend on Wenden Station’s Solar turbine necessitated a Havasu Crossover reduction from 630,000 MMcf/d to 590,000 MMcf/d, El Paso said, but the work was completed in time to allow the restoration of 630,000 MMcf/d in Crossover capacity effective with Sunday’s Cycle 2 nominations. El Paso also reported that Line 1300 pigging between the Roswell and Caprock stations on Tuesday through Thursday this week will require a flow rate of 250 MMcf/d, or a 370 MMcf/d reduction from full San Juan Crossover capacity of 620 MMcf/d. The pig runs are expected to take eight hours each day, so El Paso intends to reinstate approximately 230 MMcf/d of Crossover capacity on Cycle 3 each day. “We cannot prorate the volume for the day to include Cycles 1 and 2, because there would be too much gas flowing for the first eight hours of the day,” the pipeline said.

Panhandle Eastern has scheduled an outage on the North Line/Edgerton 200 Line beginning Sept. 2 that includes inline inspection modifications to a receiver and to the 10-gate launcher. During this outage the capacity through Edgerton will be reduced by 700 MMcf/d; the line is expected to be back in service by Sept. 25.

Sonat said maintenance that began Aug. 3 on the 14-inch Logansport Line west of Bienville Compressor Station in North Louisiana, originally scheduled for completion Aug. 27, now will be finished around Sept. 3 based on the best information available. The work reduces capacity west of Bienville by 10,000-12,000 Dth/d; no impact on firm receipts is being experienced, but shippers should expect cuts in the amount of scheduled interruptible nominations. In addition, the J.W. Gathering point will be shut in for up to five days sometime between Aug. 28 and Sept. 2, Sonat said. A Type 5 OFO for long imbalances, implemented Aug. 6 in association with the Logansport Line project for all receipts points upstream of Bienville Compressor Station due to production exceeding pipeline capacity, was lifted Monday.
