Florida Gas Transmission lifted an Overage Alert Day notice Saturday.

Repairs on Wenden Station’s GE turbine will not be completed until the end of July at the earliest and could carry over into August, El Paso said. While the unit is out of service, Havasu Crossover capacity will remain reduced to 600 MMcf/d (from a seasonal base capacity of about 660 MMcf/d).

Kern River said Friday that due to unforeseen mechanical issues with its metering facilities associated with the PG&E-Daggett interconnection, it is necessary to limit gas flow through those facilities to 325 MMcf/d, down from normal operational capacity of 393 MMcf/d. This constraint will not affect primary firm deliveries, and based on current delivery patterns, Kern River does not anticipate a “significant impact” to interruptible deliveries. The pipeline said it has an aggressive schedule to return the facilities to their higher capacities as soon as possible. Kern River also has scheduled completion of an upgrade to the accessory gear box and fuel controls of Unit #1 at the Muddy Creek Compressor Station for July 28-30. Due to the unavailability of the unit during this work. Kern River will limit station capacity to about 1,372,000 Dth/d. Based on current receipt patterns, no FT impact is anticipated, but IT cuts are likely. Similar upgrade work and restrictions are set for Aug. 4-6 on Muddy Creek’s Unit #2.

Operator Northern Natural Gas will perform pigging on the Matagorda Offshore Pipeline System from Aug. 1 until further notice. NNG said it is expecting to collect large amounts of liquids and will shut in MOPS receipts and deliveries during the pigging activity. An ongoing MOPS pigging is scheduled for completion Wednesday.
