Because of its Washington Ranch storage facility experiencing maximum withdrawals, El Paso declared an Unauthorized Overpull Penalty situation Wednesday.

Operator Northern Natural Gas declared a force majeure on the Matagorda Offshore Pipeline System (MOPS) after a leak was detected on the 20-inch mainline near the Mustang Island (MI) 787 platform. The MI 782, 787, 785, 803 and A-16 receipt points were taken to zero flow Wednesday. Duration of the outage has not yet been determined.

Florida Gas Transmission kept an Overage Alert Day notice in effect through at least Wednesday and tightened the negative imbalance tolerance from 25% to 10%.

CenterPoint reported taking Custer (OK) Station’s Unit #3 down Wednesday for what was estimated to be two to three days of unscheduled repairs. As a result of this work, capacity on Line 2 will be limited to 110,000 Dth/d (West 1). CenterPoint said it anticipates no impact on its ability to meet firm obligations.
