Based on revised weather and demand forecasts received early Monday morning, Sonat issued an OFO Type 3 for eight market-area groups on its system, effective today until further notice. Penalties of $15/Dth apply to any shipper whose deliveries exceed 102% of their daily entitlement at any delivery point within the affected groups. Sonat also will be allocating/limiting IT in three other market-area groups starting today until further notice.

Pacific Gas & Electric declared a systemwide Stage 2 low-inventory OFO for today. It carries penalties of $1/Dth for negative daily imbalances exceeding a 3% tolerance.

A day after ending a four-day-long System Overrun Limitation notice for all market-area zones Saturday, Northern Natural Gas had the SOL back in place Sunday and at least through Monday.

Transwestern has scheduled March 4-12 maintenance at Station 4 (Klagetoh, AZ). West of Thoreau capacity will be reduced by about 140 MMcf/d from its normal 1.09 Bcf/d during that period. The pipeline also plans March 5-7 work at Crawford Compressor Station in New Mexico. There will be zero Crawford flow March 5; about 30,000 MMBtu/d of capacity March 6-7; and full capacity of 60,000 MMBtu/d again March 8. Only one point, #500267, will be affected.

MRT is taking bids through Thursday on a prearranged service agreement for 307 Dth/d of firm East Line capacity from the NGPL receipt point in Clinton County, IL to the United Cities Gas Co. distribution system. The agreement becomes effective Aug. 1 for a three-year term at maximum rates. Similar terms are being offered for another pre-arranged service agreement being auctioned through Thursday. This agreement consists of 27,499 dekatherms of firm storage capacity with associated maximum deliverability of 479 Dth/d.
