ANR will perform maintenance Sept. 1 on the 8-inch Sheboygan Lateral (Line 385) in Wisconsin. The work will cause a one-day outage of the Sheboygan meter station. Citing a delay, ANR postponed work on the Burlington Lateral, also in Wisconsin, which had previously been scheduled for Friday and Saturday of last week (see Daily GPI, Aug. 17). The maintenance now will be performed on the 4-inch Line 325 today and on the 8-inch Line 325-1 Wednesday. A minimal reduction in capacity to the Burlington delivery point may occur Wednesday, ANR said.

Saying it was experiencing higher than normal linepack, for the weekend through today’s gas day NGPL barred systemwide Line Pack Service (LPS) and Interruptible Balancing Service (IBS) for Parks/Banks or paybacks of Loans/Takes. Loans/Takes and paybacks of Parks/Banks are available, NGPL said.

El Paso announced completion of all construction on the Willcox Lateral and said it has received approval from Mexico’s Pemex to connect the lateral to Pemex facilities at the international border (the proposed IMEXWILL delivery point will be coded DRN 294935).The physical connection was set for Sunday (Aug. 26) and should be available for testing and IT service today. Presuming the connection to Pemex goes as scheduled, El Paso will place Willcox facilities in service for FT effective Sept. 1. Willcox is a 60-mile, 130 MMcf/d lateral from El Paso’s South Mainline in Cochise County, AZ to the border. It got FERC approval in February of last year (see Daily GPI, Feb. 10, 2000).
