Sonat reported discovering a small leak in its 8-inch Pointe a la Hache line in southeastern Louisiana. Sonat declared a force majeure and shut in the Pointe a la Hache receiving station. Nominations through the line ceased to be scheduled Friday until completion of the repairs, which are expected to take about five days.

NGPL has delayed line lowering work on its Crossroads Lateral, previously scheduled for Aug. 1-2 (see Daily GPI, July 19) by one day until Aug. 2-3. During this work, NGPL will not be able to make physical deliveries to the CROSSROADS/NGPL LAKE delivery point in Lake County, IN. However, depending on nominated volumes for those two days, NGPL said it anticipates being able to schedule all nominations.

El Paso said Friday it shut down the Caprock Station due to an unforeseen problem with the station’s check valve. El Paso also said Wiilliams 5B compressor maintenance would be extended through today, reducing North Mainline capacity by 25 MMcf/d.
