Sea Robin said divers are investigating a reported leak on the “J” leg part of its offshore Louisiana system near Eugene Island Block 295, requiring the leg to be removed from service. The pipeline ceased accepting nominations at affected points Tuesday until further notice.
A Clarence (LA) Station compressor unit is out of service, requiring unscheduled maintenance that is reducing capacity on the West 30-inch line by 60,000 Dth/d, Gulf South said. It anticipates restoring full service by Friday.
Citing “favorable system conditions and lower than expected flows,” NOVA lifted Tuesday morning an IT service restriction placed on system Segments 1-4, 26 and 27 in association with a maintenance outage that began Monday at Hidden Lake Compressor Station (see Daily GPI, May 10). The potential remains for IT constraints during this outage, which is expected to end Friday, should system conditions or area flows change, NOVA said.
Due to modernization work at its Eakin Station, Questar will be unable to deliver to the Muddy Creek interconnect with Kern River for 12 hours on the May 24 gas day. However, Questar will be able to make deliveries to Northwest at Crossover 16 during this period.
