As it had warned earlier (see Daily GPI, Dec. 12), ANR saidFriday it will issue an OFO restricting receipts into its Southeastsystem with Btu content exceeding 1,050 per cubic foot. The OFOstarts Jan. 1, 2001 and will remain in effect until further notice.It was caused by “the current and scheduled shutdown of numerousprocessing plants on ANR’s system,” the pipeline said. Therestriction will not apply to receipts that are dedicated andconfirmed by a known processing plant that is in operation and/orwhere the heat content of the receipts exceeds 1,050 Btus per cubicfoot but the pentanes (C5+) and heavier components do not exceed0.05 gallons per Mcf, ANR said.

NGPL issued an OFO for its Market Delivery Zone limiting hourlytakes to 120% of the hourly aggregate confirmed daily nominationsplus no-notice rights for the period from 6 a.m. to noon each day.The OFO was to become effective Saturday until further notice. Itwas in response to anticipated high peaking withdrawals fromstorage facilities and the severe weather being forecasted, NGPLsaid. See the bulletin board for details.

Williams said Friday it would maintain an OFO through Christmas Daydue to cold weather forecasts. Since the OFO was issued Dec. 16 (seeDaily GPI, Dec. 19), temperatures in theKansas City market area have been 51% cooler than the 30-year average,Williams said.

Florida Gas Transmission extended its Overage Alert Day noticethrough at least Friday but restored the original 15% imbalancetolerance after having tightened it to 2% Thursday (see Daily GPI,Dec. 22).

Sonat canceled Friday an OFO Type 22 that had been in effect forits South Georgia facilities, and said an OFO Type 3 for severalmainline market delivery groups would be canceled Saturday (Dec.23).

ANR reported that with partial completion of the Wisconsin10-Cent Solution expansion for the year 2000, it has installed a10,000-horsepower turbine compressor at its existing WoodstockStation in McHenry County, IL. Upon completion of successfultesting, the pipeline expects this additional compression to makeavailable up to 50,000 Dth/d of incremental FT capacity, effectiveJanuary 1, 2001, from available receipt points to the Wisconsinmarket area. The availability of capacity will depend on thespecific delivery points requested, it said. ANR began an openseason Friday for the new capacity; it will close at 5 p.m. ESTWednesday.

MRT said Thursday it is waiving requirements on maximum monthlystorage withdrawal entitlements for the month of December only. Itwill allow shippers to exceed their maximum withdrawalentitlements.

Citing maximum utilization of No-Notice Storage rights on itssystem, Kinder Morgan Interstate said that as of Saturday (Dec. 23)and until further notice, nominations at the Huntsman Storage Pointwill be limited to primary FTS only. Other services will not bescheduled, KMI said.
