CIG declared force majure late Friday afternoon at its mainlineRawlins Compressor Station in Carbon County, WY after a compressorengine experienced problems and had to be taken out of service. CIGanticipates having the unit back in service by the April 7 gas day.There was no impact on scheduled services, a spokesman said Monday.

Operational problems caused by excess production upstream offacilities at Logansport, LA, have been alleviated, Sonat said, andit canceled Monday the OFO Type 5 that was implemented Saturday(see Daily GPI, March 26). The pipeline reminded shippers that”this is a constrained area on Southern’s system and pointoperators are encouraged to closely monitor their flows vs.scheduled quantities, so the operational problems do not return.”

El Paso said Saturday it took Line 1103 downstream of KeystoneStation out of service for unscheduled repairs. Keystone dischargecapacity was taken to zero on Saturday’s Cycle 3, and remained atzero through at least Monday, the pipeline said. However, receiptsat INGPLLEA and other interconnects downstream of Keystone are notaffected.

Iroquois Gas Transmission Monday announced the launch ofIroquois OnLine, a proprietary electronic bulletin board for use bycustomers. The general public also may view parts of the new EBB,which is accessible from the pipeline’s website (www.iroquois.com).A Citrix plug-in for a web browser is required. Iroquois OnLinereplaces NrG Highway, the EBB service previously provided on behalfof Iroquois by Calgary-based NrG Information Services. “Theelimination of a third party to run the EBB will improve ourefficiency,” said Todd White, Iroquois’ manager of transportationand gas control. “Advances in technology have made it economicalfor us to do this in-house.”
