With linepack threatening to soar well above its maximum targetlevels later this week, Pacific Gas & Electric widenedTuesday’s customer-specific OFO into a systemwide Stage 3high-inventory OFO today. The OFO has penalties of $5/Dth forpositive daily imbalances exceeding a stringent 1% tolerance.

ANR said combustion problems with the #2 engine at its GrandChenier Station on the southwestern coast of Louisiana will requirethe unit to be shipped back to the manufacturer for two weeks ofrepairs. Grand Chenier receipts from HIOS and near-shore WestCameron blocks will be cut until further notice by about 100 MMcf/dstarting today.

El Paso said late Monday afternoon it has taken Line 3173 fromPuckett to Waha out of service for unscheduled pipe replacementover the next two to three days. The action was taken based onresults of a just-completed inspection, El Paso said. Gas from theITERRELL and IPUCKETT interconnects must be re-routed to KeystoneMainline Station during the repairs and may be reduced due topreviously announced allocations at that point. “There should beminimal impact on mainline throughput as the supply curtailed dueto this maintenance can be replaced by other supplies frominterconnects feeding directly into Waha Plant,” the pipeline said.
