ÿTranswestern will perform maintenance today on units atStations 1, 2 and 3, reducing West of Thoreau capacity by about100,000 MMBtu/d.

Transco is taking fixed-price bids through 3 p.m. CDT today forup to 150,000 MMBtu/d of System Inventory Management supply itwishes to buy. The gas would be deliverable on a firm basis atStation 65 (St. Helena Parish, LA) during the Sept.18-30 period.Bids for partial quantities will be considered, but packages mustbe no less than 5,000 MMBtu/d. In a shipper letter posted late Monday afternoon, Northwestcited concerns about meeting contractual storage commitments andsaid it has been scheduling only primary gas north through Kemmerer(WY) Station in the timely cycle. Any unutilized capacity after thetimely cycle is reserved for system balancing in accordance withthe pipeline’s tariff. Effective Thursday it will be necessary toalso limit the Meacham (OR) and Roosevelt (WA) Stations to primarynominations in the timely cycle, Northwest said.

Due to construction on its South Coast Expansion project,Transco will cut IT availability, including secondary FT, atStation 90 (Myrtlewood, AL) to zero Thursday and Friday. ITreceipts upstream of Station 90 for delivery downstream of thestation will not be accepted.

Saying a certain party has expressed an interest in purchasingpipeline facilities from it, NOVA may consider divestiture of allfacilities consisting of about 12.1 kilometers of 168.3-millimeter(a little more than 6 inches) pipe between the 13-12-26-2 W4M and15-10-26-3 W4M meter stations and the related meter station at13-12-26-2 W4M operating under EUB Licence 14741. Anyone interestedin buying the facilities should call Tom Young at (403) 267-6310for bid documents. The bidding deadline is Sept. 27.
