Citing high market-area demand, Florida Gas Transmissiondeclared an Overage Alert Day Wednesday, effective until furthernotice, with 15% tolerance for negative daily imbalances.

Tennessee lifted a service seal at meters downstream of MainLine Valve 314 in northern Pennsylvania Wednesday afternoon.

Sonat is relocating its 16-inch mainline and 16-inch loop lineeast of the Wrens Compressor Station due to Georgia Dept. ofTransportation work in the area. Tie-ins for the relocation workare scheduled to be done during the mornings of Saturday andSunday. Sonat said it will try to minimize the impact, but some ITwill be cut in market delivery Groups 7 (East of Wrens) and 10(Savannah Line).

Northern Natural Gas is taking bids through Aug. 25 on year-longPack & Draft SBAs (system balancing agreements). The SBAprovider will, at NNG’s direction, either furnish incrementalvolumes to (pack) or remove volumes from (draft) the pipelinebetween Nov. 1, 2000 and Oct. 31, 2001; the months of June, Julyand August in 2001 are excluded. NNG will not buy, take title to orsell SBA gas; rather it will be treated as positive and/or negativeimbalances under the agreement. See details on the HotTap bulletinboard.

Transco is accepting requests through Aug. 25 for up to 79,406Dth/d of FT service. The service, originally offered for a 30-dayperiod in a Feb. 25 announcement, is being re-offered now. Thespace is in Zone 3 between the receipt point on the suction side ofStation 62 on the Southeast Louisiana Lateral and the deliverypoint on the suction side of Station 65, where the lateralinterconnnects with the mainline. The service will become availableSept. 1 as the result of the termination of certain Transcocontracts with LDCs Piedmont Natural Gas and Brooklyn Union Gas.Bidders must designate desired termination dates for the service.

Tennessee and Sonat reported completing an expansion of theirPugh Interconnect in Lowndes County, MS. The expansion provides anadditional 50,000 Dth/d of delivery capacity from Tennessee intoSonat.

Tennessee told customers an error was recently discovered on itssystem map (strip version) updated in January 2000. The locationsof Station 267 and the Algonquin Mendon meter, both inMassachusetts, were transposed. Algonquin Mendon is physicallylocated at Station 266A, upstream of Station 267, Tennessee said.
