Saying its Washington Ranch Storage Field was experiencingmaximum withdrawals, El Paso declared an Unauthorized OverpullPenalty situation Thursday, effective until further notice. Thepipeline will limit scheduled volumes at interconnects that areunderperforming.

Florida Gas Transmission lifted Thursday an Overage Alert Daynotice that had begun Tuesday (see Daily GPI, Aug. 8), but will continue to monitorhourly and daily takes.

Koch Gateway began unscheduled maintenance Thursday at twocompressor stations in Louisiana; the work is expected to takeabout a week at each site. One unit is unavailable at ClarenceStation, reducing capacity on the West 30-inch line by 75 MMcf/d.Two units are unavailable at Montpelier Station, cutting capacityon the Kosciusko 30-inch line from Montpelier to Kosciusko, MS by75 MMcf/d.

Until further notice, Northwest is no longer accepting requestsfor interruptible capacity in its Jackson Prairie storage facility.Northwest said it took this action to ensure that space isavailable for firm customers to meet their annual seasonal fillrequirements, due Aug. 31. The pipeline also reported experiencingheavy banking and high line pressures on its north end due tostorage accounts being almost full, which severely limitsoperational flexibility.
