Florida Gas Transmission lifted Tuesday an Overage Alert Daynotice that had been issued Monday for its market area (see DailyGPI, July 25), but said it will continue to monitor hourly anddaily takes and use appropriate operational controls to ensuresystem integrity.

Pacific Gas & Electric did not extend a systemwidelow-inventory OFO (see Daily GPI, July 25) beyond Tuesday.

During upcoming maintenance on its Blackwell Line (Segment 377),Williams will not allow any physical gas flows Aug. 7-11 at theWFS-Baker point or Aug. 7-8 at the CIG-Floris point. Williams alsohas scheduled Aug. 21-25 maintenance at the Cheyenne and OgallahCompressor Stations. This work will be done in conjunction with aproject at WFS-Echo Springs but could reduce available capacitythrough the stations by about 10,000 MMBtu/d.

El Paso said it must take White Rock (NM) Station down foremergency leak repairs today for an estimated four to six hours.San Juan Basin will be reduced by 200 MMcf/d until repairs arecomplete.El Paso is holding an open season through Aug. 11 toassess interest in expanded firm transportation service on theSamalayuca Lateral for deliveries to the international boundarybetween the United States and Mexico. Gasoductos de Chihuahuawould transport such gas from the border to delivery points inMexico’s State of Chihuahua. Based on satisfactory results of theopen season, El Paso anticipates filing a Section 7 applicationwith FERC to build and operate the new facilities. NGPL said Monday a leak discovered Friday on its offshore HighIsland Block 71 Lateral had been repaired and it was takingnominations again at three platform receipt points that had beenshut in since Saturday.

Texas Eastern rescheduled a one-day outage of its Cameron Systemin southwestern Louisiana, originally posted for Aug. 16, to Oct.11. Valve installation on Line 41 between Grand Cheniere and theIowa Plant will require taking the entire line out of service andshutting in all meters upstream of the plant.
